My 360 Home is an education collaborative offering practical, affordable personal sustainability classes for individuals and families in the Portland, Oregon metro area.  

Our classes promote community health and environmental sustainability through a focus on pesticide free gardening, beneficial insects and pollinators, and healthy eating.

Our workshops are:

  • Hands-on – garden tours, hands-on classroom and outdoor demonstrations
  • Convenient – accessible by public transit, offered mostly on evenings and weekends
  • Family-friendly – child care available for many classes, family classes feature parent-child activities
  • Affordable – most classes are between $20 and $40 per person- sliding scale tuition and scholarships available
  • Practical – useful information, tips and practices for all types of learners and households
  • Inclusive – tuition discounts, meals, child care, handicap access available for most classes upon request

Course topics include:

  • chemical free gardening and landscaping for healthier families
  • honey bee keeping and pollinator habitat
  • beneficial garden bugs and native pollinators
  • low maintenance, environmentally friendly lawn and landscaping
  • growing and eating fresh, healthy food
